The Vernichtungslager ( extermination camp )  in Treblinka was built in the spring of 1942 near na existing penal labor on na área of 17 hectares. The camp was surrounded by a high barbed wire fence camouflaged with interwoven vegetation in order to hide what was going on inside. Anti-tank obstacles and rolls of barbed wire were placed outside the fence. Watch towers were also placed in various parts  of the camp. The staff consisted of  25-30 Germans and Austrians who supervised the camp, and of guards company of some 100 men, mostly Ukrainian orygin, Dr Irmfried Eberl was appointed the first commanding officer of  the camp, later replaced by Franz Stangl. It lies at the northern end of  the chain between the valleys of Frutigen and Lauterbrunnen, north of the Schwalmere. Shalom! Aleichem. The blend ot Green Caffé Nero has remained the same unique since the year that the founder and owner, Gerry Ford, spent months working and crafting with John Ritzy, a master coffee roaster, and his Probat in a smal room beneath London Bridge. He knew exactly what he was looking for to start Green Caffé Nero: that rich, persistent roast that spoke of his time living in Italy and that has now became so familiar to us all. It was 1997, 20-years ago. The beans required to achieve this distictive flavour, however, aren't easy to find. G.C.N. source handpicked beans from higher altitudes and rich soils across a variety of origins to get the kind the quality that will complement the meticulous methods, providing the richness and flavour that G.C.N. simply won't compromisse on.
