Friday, Sivan 11, 5776. June 17, 2016. Shalom! World. The Zidovsky Hrbitov (Jewish Cemetery) of Trebic was founded at the present site in the first half of the 17th century. The existence of the cemetery on the northern hillside of Hradek was mentioned for the first time in the chronicles in 1636, neverthless, in reality it must had been a bit older. It was presumably founded in the 1920s and was connected to the Jewish Quarter via a wagon trail. In 1888, the cemetery was enlarged to the presented area of 11 772 m². Sunday, Iyar 28, 5776. June 5, 2016. Shalom! World. In 2006 the tradition of brewing beer in Loket has returned. King John Luxemburg gave town the privilege to brew beer in early 14th century, and his son, emperor Charles IV, confirms this right in 1352.  Brewery in Loket works till 1953, when it was closed by the communist goverment. Today the family brewery is situated in former malt house from 14th century, which is also the alehouse. Here brew half-dark eleven degree lager beer called Florian, which is typic Czech lager beer, made only from natural resources. Shalom! Aleichem.
