Wednesday, Elul 4, 5775. August 19, 2015. Shalom! World. Tel-Aviv Cafe, Poznanska 11, Warszawa/Poland. The Tel-Aviv Cafe, gives your custumer a beautiful set of privileges like: location, near the Al. Jerozolimskie, Warszawa Centralna, excellent vegetarian cuisine, a secure Jewish enviroment but does not do enough to offer Israelis beers which is a great contradiction. The waiter suggested a Polish artesanal beer, 'Miroslav', and  it has a very good taste. The falafel is fantastic. The menu has good price. Shalom! Aleichem. Evidence shows that Wawel Hill was being used as a fortified castle before Poland's first ruler, Mieszko I (circa 962 - 992) chose Wawel as one of his official residences. The first Polish king cwoned in Wawel Cathedral was the teenage Wladyslaw the Short (1306-1333) on January 20, 1319, beginning a tradition that would see a further 35 royal rulers crowned there up until the 17th century. All of these rulers used the castle as a residence, and all of them added their own architectural details to the building.  The moving of the capital to Warszawa in 1596 and Poland's subsequent decline and partitioning saw the Royal Castle fall into a state of the disrepair. The occupying Austrians used it as a military hospital and even went so far as to demilish several buildings i

Poland's oldest surviving Synagogue and historic seat of the local Jewish authorities, this large, red-brick building was coverted to a Museum of Judaism after war-time destruction. Founded in the early 1400s no-one wknows exactly when - the Syangogue was rebuilt with Renaissance touches in 1570 after one of several fires, and added to over the centuries. Displays in its two-floor permanent exhibition cover local Jewish life and culture - talit gadol , kipah and various cerimonial items are well presented and explained in English. It now houses a branch of the Museum of the History of Krakow. The prayer hall contains the original aron kodesh (the niche in the eastern wall where Torah scrolls are kept) and a reconstruted bimah (raised platform at the centre of the Synagogue where the Torah is read). The striking bimah plattaform is a reconstruction - the original staged  many
