Sunday, Shvat 18, 5781. January 31, 2021.  Shalom! World. Karlstjen Castle. Karlstjen - Czech Republic. The Karlstjen castle was founded in 1348 by Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor-elect and King of Bohemia. The castle served as a place for safekeeping the Imperial Regalia as well as the Bohemian crown jewels, holy relics, and other royal treasures. It is located about 30 kilometers of Praha. The nearby village was founded during the construction of the castle and bore its name until it was renamed to Buda in the wake of the Hussite Wars. Renamed to Budnany in the 18th century, it was merged with Poucnik and called Karlstjen. Cultural Support: Jacob Jr. Benleumi. Advisor, Consulting and Education. International Relations Analyst.

Sunday, Shvat 11, 5781. January 24, 2021.  Shalom! World.  Agudas Achim Synagogue. Skorepka 247. Brno - Czech Republic.  Jewish architects in Brno and their work. An integral part of the Brno identity is functionalism - a style that was typical of the First Czechoslowak Republic and wich Jewish architects and builders significantly contribuited. The modest architecture of the Synagogue was designed by the architect Otto Eisler in the spring of 1934, and built by his brothers, Arthur and Maurice Eisler, two years later. Their company was one of the most important businesses of its kind in Brno, and between the wars, it constructed some of the most important functionalist buildings, including the famous Villa Tugendh...

Wednesday, Tevet 22, 5781. January 6, 2021. Shalom! World. Villa Seilern Vital Resort. Tänzlgasse 11. Bad Ischl - Austria.  Bad Ischl has always been a place to relax. ALready in the 19th century, it had been a veneu for the rich and beautiful. Thus , the imperial family, Emperor Franz Joseph and his Sisi, also spent their summers in the heart of the Salzkammergut. The neo-classical villa was constructed in 1881. Feeling good was always an important topic at Villa Seilern - both then and now. Here, a symbiosis of culture, tradition, modern lifestyle, feeling healthy and well-being can be found. The Café inside the Villa is amazing 'cause you will find a peaceful place to spent a time and enjoying a top service and coffee.
