Conditorei Péclard im Schober, is a world famous and a Zürich institution. What with the creation of "Eberle's sweet general store" began in 1845, 1874 was continued with the acquisition of the business by Theodor Schober and evolved over generations across the current jewel of the coffee house culture with highest Patisserie art. Since 2009, the "Schober" is under the direction of Michel Péclard and his team. The interiors were renovated in gently and give a dignified frame the sweet specialties: the shop shines as anno dazumal inn playful neo-Baroque style, a light refreshment room with courtyard joins immediately, the stairs it goes to  the Salon Rouge and the  cosy tea room, dominated by the handmade wallpaper. The conclusion is the elegante Zürich-room at the top.

Alluring bakery and pâtisserie as its finest. The reputation far beyond the city limits if Zürich also owes not least also the treats from the bakery and its unique hot chocolate with  whipped cream, the "Schober" of the "chocolate Mélange". The fresh Gugelhopf and Apple Strudel with finest truffles and Pralinés, almond dragees, plantain Zältli and Züri Hüppen until filgransten treats of the Patisserie everything that makes higher beats the heart of a sweet tooth and-katern, is complemented by a wide selection of teas and coffees. For the small apetite is a constantly changing menu to choose from, a glass of wine or champagne is the stylish accompaniment to.

During the winter months, guests of the  "Schober" are pampered also musically. With live piano music from classical to pop, we each take on the Friday and Saturday night in a special world of pleasure.

The coffee, ice cream, cakes and desserts are all made with original recipes. Sunday, Elul 21, 5781. August 29, 2021.  Shalom! World. Turnov Jewish Cemetery. Sobotecka,  Turnov - Czech Republic.  The Jewish cemetery in Turnov dates back to the 17th century. The land for a Jewish cemetery was purchased by Albrecht of Wallenstein as early as in the 1625 and the oldest surviving tombstone goes back to 1649. During its existence, it was expanded twice. The last burial took place here in 1956. At present, there is a bridge of the motorway passing through the town in the direction of Jicin over a part of the cemetery, which was planned in the late seventies and was constructed in 1987-91. Since 1994, the cemetery has been administered by Matana, a joint-stock company founded by the Federation of Jewish Communities for the purpose of caring for real estare.  Jewish cemeteries were usually located on slopes or otherwise unfavourable places that the christian society had little interest in.
