JACOB JR, MY JEWISH WORLD. NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE. SCHWANGAU/GERMANY.
Sunday, Sivan 27, 5779. June 30, 2019. Shalom! World. Address: Schwangau - Germany. Neuschwanstein Castle, is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavária, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavária as a retreat and in honour of Richard Wagner. Ludwig paid for the palace out of his personal fortune and by means of extensive borrowing, rather than Bavarian public funds. The city of Füssen gives a wonderful chance to enjoy three beautifuls castles: Füssen Castle, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. My sugestion is to enjoy a night or two in Füssen, so you will have enough time to enjoy your visit without stress. Füssen is a confortable city with good Hotels and Cafés, and it will give you a oppoutunity to walk around the castles feeling each step full of memories. Shalom! Aleichem. Cultural Suppport: J...
