The Hotel Bristol, Warszawa - the cultural landmak since 1901.

Situated on the celebrated Royal Route, next to the Presidential Palace and just a short stroll from the Od Town, Royal Castle, National Theater and Opera House, Hotel Bristol, Warszawa has served as a city landmark.

The Café Bristol is a legendary place in Warszawa, that has enchanted its guests not only with original Viennese-style interiors but also with usurpassed flavors of home-baked pastries and desserts.






Over a century in the making, Café Bristol's legendary, timeless décorand exclusive offerings transport guests and locals back to a forgotten world defined by opulent interiors and epicurean indulgences. Since 1901, the café has been serving as a place where Warszawa citizens and visitors meet for coffee, breakfast, lunchor a glass of wine. 



Cream -coloured walls boast ornate crown moulding. Stretching wall to wall, the cream marron, and black checkboard floor is the most distinctive element of  the decor. 

Sinuous Art Deco-style sofas and marble-top tables are accompanied by wooden chairs. A wall of street-facong windows fills the jubiliant space with natural light, which is amplified by a bevy of circular Art Deco chandeliers.

Sunday, Elul 21, 5781. August 29, 2021.  Shalom! World. Turnov Jewish Cemetery. Sobotecka,  Turnov - Czech Republic.  The Jewish cemetery in Turnov dates back to the 17th century. The land for a Jewish cemetery was purchased by Albrecht of Wallenstein as early as in the 1625 and the oldest surviving tombstone goes back to 1649. During its existence, it was expanded twice. The last burial took place here in 1956. At present, there is a bridge of the motorway passing through the town in the direction of Jicin over a part of the cemetery, which was planned in the late seventies and was constructed in 1987-91. Since 1994, the cemetery has been administered by Matana, a joint-stock company founded by the Federation of Jewish Communities for the purpose of caring for real estare.  Jewish cemeteries were usually located on slopes or otherwise unfavourable places that the christian society had little interest in.
